  • How to reach Samskrithy?

    We are located 150 kilometers From Kochi International Airport, Nedumbasseri, Ernakulam, Kerala & 153 kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram international Airport. (See Google map)

  • How is the food and accommodation ?

    We provided Keralite Vegetarian food and Homely living facilities.

  • What are the conditions to be admitted in your institution ?

    Is it necessary to have an artistic background?

    Anyone can come provided he is interested in arts. Of course, a good physical condition is also needed. If you are already an artist, you will definitely enlarge your experience with a different approach to art.

  • Which is the best period of the year to come to study ?

    Our school is open all the year round (except some very special holidays like Onam-middle August or September in every year). So you can choose the time you want to come. However, we wish to specify that during the dry season (from October to May), you can enjoy performances more often as it is the artistic season. This is not to say that the rainy season has no advantage. In fact, physical practice is easier at that time.

  • Why would you recommend your school ?

    Our school is a cultural centre, which allows you to discover and study various arts from South India with experienced professionals. All our teachers have vast experience of the stage. They are also used to teaching both Indian and foreign students. In our school, you can get food (vegetarian food) and accommodation. You can devote all your time to study, if you wish. There are also many attractive places to visit during your free time.

    For people or groups of people who are interested in art, but do not want to study, we can organise concerts, dance performances as well as demonstrations within the school (for example, a week can be planned with a demonstration or performance every day). We welcome people with artistic projects, as we are ready to exchange experiences.

  • Is it possible to book rooms in advance ?

    You submit filled "Registration form" and send 10 % of the total amount to our address before 10 days of your arrival.

  • Which is the best period of the year to come to study ?

  • Do you offer private or group classes ?

    Both are possible. In group classes, there are not more than 5 students.

  • Are there several levels in the classes ? Are all students mixed together?

    Usually, there are no levels in the classes. If students have very different levels of knowledge, then we may decide to organise different classes.

  • How many hours per day are dedicated to classes ?

    You can have three hours per day altogether, which means two hours of the subject you have chosen as “main subject” plus one hour of “secondary subject”. If you prefer to have 3 hours of the same subject, it can be so too.

  • How many people can come as a group and be accommodated together ?

    What would be the course fee for one week or more for 10 people ?

    A group of ten people can be accommodated. For groups of 10 people and above, Per adult: US $ 18 per day.

  • Are all costs included in the Course Fee you mention ?

    PRICES INCLUDE CLASSES, FOOD AND ACCOMODATION.

  • Is it possible to have continuous education in your institution ?

    Yes.

  • How long is it possible to stay ?

    You can stay from one week to one year or even more. All depends on your project. The longer you stay, the best price you will get.

  • Has “Samskrithy” anything to do with “Sanskrit” ?

    Do you teach Sanskrit in your Institution?

    Samskrithy is indeed a Sanskrit word meaning “culture”.We can arrange language teachers to teach you Sanskrit in our school , but that is not our main purpose.We are professional artists.

  • Do you have any material to help research work in any of the arts you teach ?

    Books, Video and Audio library facilities available.
